In a significant move against cybercrime, the Delhi Police executed 'Operation CyHawk,' one of its largest crackdowns, resulting in the detention of 381 individuals related to organized cyber fraud.
The comprehensive operation, lasting 48 hours, led to 24 FIRs being registered in Central Delhi. Police seized 1,843 mobile phones, among other evidence, and also recovered Rs 10.28 lakh in cash.
The operation revealed illegal mobile manufacturing units and call centers involved in cyber fraud activities, leading to the arrest of several perpetrators and the busting of key operations across the district.
