Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi stressed the significance of public grievances as the core focus of his administration, making regular 'Jan Abhijog Sunani' (public grievance hearings) a staple of governance.
Majhi declared that these sessions are pivotal in breaking down the previous administration's barriers between the government and the populace. At the 15th such hearing, Majhi, alongside key government figures, listened to grievances from around 1,000 attendees.
Majhi has frequently highlighted that resolving public issues is central to his efforts, reinforced by his initiative to reach citizens directly. During the government's 17 months in office, these sessions have been a principal avenue for problem-solving, claiming an 80% resolution rate.
