Three individuals met a tragic fate when their boat capsized in the Rywada reservoir located in Anakapalli district, according to a police official. The unfortunate incident claimed the lives of three out of four men onboard, with survival coming only for Jalada Prasad.

The small boat, designed to accommodate just two people, overturned approximately 150 meters from the shore on Sunday.

Efforts to recover the bodies are underway, with one victim identified as Ganjai Jeevan already found. As search operations continue in the challenging depths of the reservoir, State Disaster Management Force teams are actively involved. A case has been registered under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita for suspicious death.
