The EAGLE Force, Telangana's anti-narcotics wing, has executed a sweeping multi-state operation targeting a Nigerian drug cartel active across India. The successful operation resulted in the arrest of more than 50 individuals, primarily Nigerian nationals, and the confiscation of drugs valued at Rs 3.5 crore.

Coordinated efforts across 20 areas of Delhi, as well as in Noida, Gwalior, and Visakhapatnam, culminated in the capture of key cartel figures. Investigations exposed a well-organized network involving over 2,000 consumers and the use of mule bank accounts for financial transactions, thus leading to a significant disruption of the cartel's supply chain.

The EAGLE Force, alongside Delhi Police and the Narcotics Control Bureau, employed high-level technical support and intelligence gathering to incapacitate the cartel, highlighting the pressing issues of visa abuses and the inefficacy of banking and courier oversight in stemming illegal operations.
