A Delhi court has extended the NIA custody of notorious gangster Anmol Bishnoi for an additional seven days, as confirmed on Saturday. This decision came after a hearing held at the highly secured NIA headquarters.

Anmol Bishnoi, deported from the United States on November 18, is linked to several high-profile crimes. These include involvement in the murder of NCP leader Siddique, firing at actor Salman Khan's residence slated for April 2024, and the assassination of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

Prior to this extension, Anmol was already in NIA custody since November 19. He had been on the run since 2022 and is now the 19th individual apprehended in connection with the intricate terror-gangster network orchestrated by his incarcerated brother, Lawrence Bishnoi.
