A Delhi court, on Saturday, granted bail to three co-accused in a sexual assault case involving Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati. The individuals, identified as Kajal, Bhawna, and Shweta, were not arrested but were chargesheeted in the case.
Judicial Magistrate Animesh Kumar presided over the hearing and required each accused to furnish a bail bond of Rs 20,000. The court has set the next hearing for December 2.
Meanwhile, Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, accused of harassing 16 students at a private management institute, remains in custody following his September 27 arrest. Additional legal troubles loom as the court issued a warrant for his involvement in a case related to a fake diplomatic number plate, with a court appearance scheduled for December 2.
