The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has raised serious accusations against the Special Intensive Revision exercise, currently underway across 12 states and Union Territories, describing it as hasty and ill-conceived.
The CPI(M) argues that what should have been a seamless and transparent process has devolved into chaos, posing risks to both the accuracy of the voter rolls and the wellbeing of those involved in the initiative.
With technical difficulties hampering operations and causing significant concern over potential disenfranchisement, the CPI(M) is demanding an immediate suspension of the exercise to preserve electoral integrity.
