Global Delegates Experience Delhi's Legislative Heritage

An international parliamentary delegation visited the Delhi Assembly, engaging with Speaker Vijender Gupta. They were received by Speaker Vijender Gupta, who introduced the visitors to the historic Assembly, which once housed the Central Legislative Assembly prior to India's independence. Gupta extended warm hospitality, honoring the delegates with a 'Patka' and presenting a memento to commemorate their visit.

Gupta highlighted the Assembly's historical significance and modern developments, including the adoption of digital initiatives through NeVA and a transition to a solar-powered operations environment. These efforts aim to promote a paperless and environmentally friendly legislative process.
