A somber mood hangs over Wazirganj as Deepu Maurya, a local tea stall owner, was discovered dead in his home on Friday night. The 35-year-old's body was found suspended from a noose, suggesting suicide, according to initial police reports.

Deepu's wife, Jyoti Maurya, recounts that her husband shared the business with his brother, Harish Maurya, for five years. The Maurya family, residing in a rented room, found him upon returning home late Friday.

While Deepu's wife denies any existing disputes, his father, Rajkumar Maurya, suspects murder, prompting authorities to conduct a thorough post-mortem examination to clarify the cause of death.
