A disturbing case has emerged in Mumbai where six individuals have been booked for allegedly threatening a 51-year-old woman with a revolver and compelling her to undress at a pharmaceutical firm's office. This shocking incident occurred in the Mahalaxmi area, and the police are actively investigating.
The First Information Report (FIR) was lodged at the N M Joshi Marg police station following a directive from the Bombay High Court. The charges include sexual harassment and other related offences. The victim has accused the perpetrators of clicking semi-nude photos and recording videos of her before threatening to share them on social media.
Moreover, it has been alleged that the victim, who is engaged in the photo frame and gifting business, was assaulted to coerce her into giving a false statement to the police concerning one of the perpetrators. Initially reported to Pydhonie police station, the case was subsequently transferred. Additionally, the accused had previously filed a complaint against the victim with the Economic Offences Wing (EOW).
