CPI(M) Resolves to Address Sabarimala Temple Gold Loss Accusations

CPI(M) Kerala state secretary M V Govindan announced actions against party leaders accused in the Sabarimala temple gold loss case. Leaders A Padmakumar and N Vasu remain in custody, and the CPI(M) pledges to recover all lost gold. The party aims for clarity as the case undergoes High Court supervision.

CPI(M) Kerala state secretary M V Govindan confirmed the party’s commitment to taking necessary actions against leaders implicated in the Sabarimala temple gold loss case following the court's guidelines.

Amid ongoing legal proceedings overseen by the High Court, Govindan assured that organizational disciplinary measures would be enforced once a judicial decision is reached. Leaders A Padmakumar and N Vasu are currently under remand.

He emphasized that CPI(M) remains dedicated to addressing the gold loss allegations transparently, promising recovery of the entire quantity of gold. Govindan further criticized a past unresolved gold theft case from the Congress-led era.
