Amid ongoing legal proceedings overseen by the High Court, Govindan assured that organizational disciplinary measures would be enforced once a judicial decision is reached. Leaders A Padmakumar and N Vasu are currently under remand.
He emphasized that CPI(M) remains dedicated to addressing the gold loss allegations transparently, promising recovery of the entire quantity of gold. Govindan further criticized a past unresolved gold theft case from the Congress-led era.
