Authorities reported that the men lured the child to their residence under the pretense of offering her snacks before perpetrating the assault. Following an alert on Thursday evening, the girl, accompanied by her mother and an Anganwadi worker, was taken to the police station and then rushed to Khirkiya town hospital for urgent medical care.

The incident, which left the girl injured but now stable, only came to her parents' attention when they noticed her distress and sought help at a local Anganwadi center. A formal complaint has been lodged, and an FIR was registered promptly, ensuring both accused individuals were apprehended for further questioning.
