Arunachal Pradesh Governor's Residence Renamed to 'Lok Bhavan'

Arunachal Pradesh Governor K T Parnaik, following a directive from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, has renamed his official residence to 'Lok Bhavan'. This change is reflected in official communications and documents, ensuring consistency across government records and platforms.

In a recent move, Arunachal Pradesh Governor K T Parnaik has officially renamed his residence from 'Raj Bhavan' to 'Lok Bhavan'. This decision follows a directive from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, as announced in a notification from the Governor's Secretariat dated December 4.

The newly coined 'Lok Bhavan' is mandated to appear in all forms of official communication, including records, signage, and digital platforms, under the governor's supervision. Commissioner to the Governor, Pawan Kumar Sain, emphasized that these changes must be reflected universally in the related official documentation and correspondence.

Following this directive, the state government departments and concerned agencies have been instructed to update their documents, websites, and communication channels to align with the new nomenclature, reinforcing a consistent application across the board.
