Tamil Nadu's government is actively fostering opportunities for marginalized communities, aiming to eliminate discrimination and promote equal progress, according to Chief Minister M K Stalin on Saturday.

The CM emphasized his vision of an egalitarian society where no one is denied access, underlining governance as a tool for societal welfare. His statements came as he distributed Rs 265.50 crore in welfare assistance to 9,371 beneficiaries of the Chief Minister's Thayumanavar Scheme.

Stalin also awarded communal harmony accolades to 10 village panchayats and launched several welfare initiatives, including scholarships and self-employment loans. The government has earmarked significant funds for the Adi Dravidars and Tribals, highlighting its dedication to unprecedented social development.
