Hyderabad Police Investigate Fabricated Owaisi Video Case

The cybercrime police in Hyderabad are investigating a complaint from an AIMIM functionary regarding manipulated videos of party president Asaduddin Owaisi. The videos falsely depict Owaisi reciting Hanuman Chalisa in front of a Lord Hanuman idol. The police have registered a case and are probing the matter.

In a significant move, Hyderabad's cybercrime police have launched an investigation following a complaint from an AIMIM functionary about doctored videos of their party president, Asaduddin Owaisi.

The controversial videos, which have been circulating online, misleadingly show Owaisi standing before a Lord Hanuman idol while reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, according to the complaint lodged on December 5.

Authorities have taken the matter seriously, registering a case and initiating a thorough probe to uncover the source and motive behind the fraudulent content.
