In a shocking turn of events, a woman constable has been apprehended in Uttar Pradesh's Jalaun district, accused of involvement in the mysterious death of a Station House Officer (SHO). The officer, Arun Kumar Rai, succumbed to a gunshot wound, prompting a criminal investigation.

Last Sunday, SHO Rai's last rites were solemnly conducted with full honor in Sant Kabir Nagar. According to initial findings, Rai had been fatally wounded by a gunshot last Friday evening. The unsettling circumstances led his widow, Maya Rai, to lodge accusations against constable Meenakshi Sharma.

Sharma, once embroiled in a confrontation at Bahedi police station, now faces charges again as police officials arrested her based on Maya Rai's allegations. With Sharma's presence confirmed at Rai's home during the incident, previous controversies shed light on her tumultuous service history.
