On Monday, a senior Army officer urged troops to remain alert and adopt a firm and consistent approach in their counter-terrorism efforts in the militancy-affected Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Lt Gen P K Mishra, General Officer Commanding of the Army's White Knight Corps, provided these directives during a visit to Gandoh to evaluate the ground situation and review operational readiness, according to the Army. Accompanying him was Maj Gen A P S Bal, Commander of the Counter-Insurgency Force (Delta). "The GOC (Lt Gen Mishra) motivated the troops to implement forward-thinking strategies while maintaining consistency in counter-terrorist operations," stated a release from the Jammu-based White Knight Corps, also known as 16 Corps, on platform X.

Emphasizing professionalism, he urged the forces to stay vigilant, confident, and prepared to face any unforeseen challenges with clarity and determination.
