In a significant breakthrough, police in Maharashtra's Latur district have apprehended four members of a notorious gang responsible for at least 23 burglaries and house-breaking incidents.
The local crime branch reported that valuables, including gold, cash, and two motorcycles totaling Rs 4.37 lakh, were seized from the suspects.
The arrests followed a well-coordinated trap set on the Latur-Barshi Road, acting on a tip-off, capturing four accused; meanwhile, three others remain on the run.
