Inquiry Launched into Breach of Privilege Allegations in Maharashtra

Deputy Chairman Neelam Gorhe has initiated an investigation into breach of privilege allegations against NCP (SP) worker Suryakant More. Maharashtra's legislative council Deputy Chairman, Neelam Gorhe, has called for an inquiry into a breach of privilege motion against a Nationalist Congress Party (SP) member.

The motion, submitted by BJP's MLC Pravin Darekar, stems from derogatory comments made by Suryakant More at a campaign rally in Jamkhed.

The Upper House committee and police have been tasked with investigating the incident, with several council members backing the motion.
