The Jammu and Kashmir Police's State Investigation Agency (SIA) took decisive action against terrorism on Wednesday by seizing the ancestral property of Zahid Hussain, a notorious Pakistan-based Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist, in Doda district. The operation followed due legal procedures, as authorized by a competent court.
Authorities identified and physically verified the land in Mangota village before inspection and formal attachment. This action is a crucial step in a broader effort to dismantle the terror framework in the region, targeting the roots of terrorist support and logistics within Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials report that Hussain, operating from Pakistan, has been actively involved in radicalizing and recruiting youths from J&K as over ground workers through social media. The seizure reflects ongoing efforts to break the financial and logistical backbones of regional terrorism.
