Jammu and Kashmir Police have detained approximately 200 suspected over-ground workers (OGWs) of terror groups in a major crackdown in the region, according to statements from officials.

This operation, conducted in collaboration with other security forces, targeted the OGW network in various areas of the Kashmir Valley, notably in Srinagar city, resulting in raids at multiple locations.

Officials disclosed that these suspected OGWs are believed to provide logistical support—such as funds, shelter, and infrastructure—to terrorists. This crackdown is part of an ongoing effort to dismantle the terror infrastructure in the Valley.
