A balloon with Pakistani markings was discovered on the roof of a house in a Himachal Pradesh village, raising alarm among residents. The balloon, resembling an airplane, displayed the Pakistani flag and 'PIA' (Pakistan International Airlines), police confirmed.
This incident comes shortly after a similar occurrence in Una district, adding to local apprehensions. The balloon was found by Pappu Nambardar's family in Chalet village, who promptly informed the Daulatpur police post.
Police Post In-charge Ravipal and his team secured the balloon and searched the area for additional suspicious objects as a precaution. The balloon attracted a large curious crowd. Earlier, similar balloons were found in Tatehra village with 'I Love Pakistan' markings. Investigations are ongoing to trace their origin, said Una Superintendent of Police Amit Yadav.
