A solemn wreath-laying ceremony was conducted in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, honoring the bravery of Constable Amjad Ali Khan of the Indian Reserve Police. The officer tragically lost his life during an encounter with terrorists in a dense forest area, and efforts to capture the assailants continue.

The tribute, led by Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat, saw participation from senior police officials, CRPF personnel, and district authorities. They gathered at the District Police Lines to lay floral wreaths, marking their respect for the martyred officer whose selfless service has not gone unnoticed.

Following the gun salute, Khan's remains were respectfully transported to his hometown for burial in Poonch district. The ongoing operation, initiated by an actionable intelligence report, endures in the search for those behind the volatile confrontation that cost a life and shook the community.
