This joint declaration was made in a meeting that took place in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, on Tuesday.
The leaders from Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, and Lithuania gathered to deliberate on fortifying the EU's eastern borders against potential Russian aggression.
