Massive Blast Devastates Property, Claims Life

A suspected gas cylinder explosion destroyed a building in Bhader-Jamo, killing one and injuring another. The blast leveled the structure housing multiple shops, leaving debris scattered. Authorities are investigating the exact cause and sequence of events leading to the tragedy.

A powerful explosion demolished a building on Bhader-Jamo road, police reported on Wednesday, resulting in the death of a 37-year-old man and severe injuries to another individual.

The incident occurred at 10 pm on Tuesday, as a suspected gas cylinder blast ripped through a property owned by Shiv Mahesh Pandey. The devastating force turned the structure, which housed five shops, into rubble within seconds, according to locals.

Police identified the deceased as Satish Chand Tiwari from Bastidei village and the injured individual as Balram Chand Pandey from Jamo. Currently receiving medical attention at Gauriganj district hospital, Pandey explained he was inspecting his cold drink warehouse when the explosion collapsed the building. The exact cause and circumstances remain under investigation.
