An international drug racket has been dismantled by Pune police following the arrest of five individuals in their 20s and a seizure of drugs valued at approximately Rs 3.45 crore. The operation included raids in Pune, Mumbai, Goa, and Guwahati, as reported by law enforcement officials on Wednesday.

The primary suspect, Tushar Chetan Verma, was apprehended after investigations linked him to a drug-manufacturing unit operating from a residential flat in Pimpri Chinchwad. The facility specialized in producing hydroponic drugs, particularly marijuana. Subsequent raids led to the arrest of additional suspects, including a drug peddler in Goa.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Somay Munde, materials used in drug production, as well as crypto wallets for drug transactions, were confiscated. Authorities continue their search for five more suspects, including two foreign nationals suspected of involvement in this case.
