Chargesheet Filed in Fake Railway Recruitment Scam Unveils Elaborate Fraud

The Economic Offences Wing of the Crime Branch Kashmir has taken decisive action by filing a chargesheet in an alleged fake Railway recruitment scam involving three individuals, officials revealed on Friday.
The suspects, Abdul Hamid Sheikh, Adil Shah, and Mufti Ghulam Hassan Kumar, are accused of duping job seekers through forged appointment letters supposedly from the Railway Recruitment Board, New Delhi. These fabricated documents featured fake seals and signatures of the DGM, Northern Railway, Paharganj, New Delhi, officials added.
A complex conspiracy was exposed by the probe, showing how Kumar, the complainant, also participated in the scam. He is alleged to have taken money from victims with false promises of jobs. A final report under Section 173 of the CrPC has now been submitted for judicial evaluation.
