Trademark Battle Heats Up as IGCL Protects INDOCARB Brand

Indo German Carbons Limited (IGCL) is taking strong legal action against unauthorized trademark use of its INDOCARB brand by multiple entities. These actions, which involve trademark infringement and market confusion, emphasize IGCL’s commitment to ethical practices and protection of its intellectual property rights in the activated carbon industry.

Indo German Carbons Limited (IGCL) has launched serious legal actions against what it describes as the unauthorized use of its INDOCARB trademark by United Carbon Solutions, IndCarb Activated Carbon Pvt. Ltd., and an individual named Mr. Santosh, who operates under the name Indo Carb AC LLC.

These entities have been accused of violating IGCL's intellectual property rights by exporting activated carbon under the guise of the INDOCARB brand, an act that risks creating market confusion while threatening IGCL's established global relationships.

IGCL an MFAR group company has called on the industrial community to respect their trademarks and has made a plea to stakeholders for vigilance. The company assures all legal avenues will be pursued to safeguard its brand integrity.
