The Madhya Pradesh Assembly is preparing for its budget session, scheduled from February 16 to March 6, as per a notification issued on Thursday.
Endorsed by the Governor, the session's notification was released by the Legislative Assembly Secretariat. However, the presentation date for the state budget of FY 2026-27 has not been disclosed.
Spanning 19 days, the session will see vital government transactions. Private members' bills and resolutions have specific submission deadlines on February 4 and February 5, respectively, while adjournment motions and attention calls will be accepted starting February 10.
This marks the ninth session of the 16th Madhya Pradesh Assembly, established post the December 2023 state elections.
