Joint Commissioner of Police, Ranjan Kumar Sharma, acknowledged the occurrence of several complaints related to vote manipulation and irregularities at voting stations. Election officials confirmed the smooth continuation of voting after replacing faulty control and ballot units swiftly.
Political figures like NCP leader Rupali Chakankar and Shiv Sena's Pramod Nana Bhangire filed reports against alleged voting fraud, using video evidence to back their accusations. The results are anxiously awaited, with exit polls suggesting a lead for the BJP in the Pune Municipal Corporation elections.
