A man was arrested on Friday following allegations of sexually abusing his two daughters over a period spanning more than a decade, police reported. The individual, who works as a daily wage laborer, was apprehended at the Collectorate premises after a complaint was lodged.

The abuse surfaced when the accused allegedly molested his 15-year-old younger daughter. Upon confiding in her elder sister, the younger daughter discovered her sibling had endured similar abuse for over 12 years, beginning at age six.

According to the police, the father used threats to silence his elder daughter, who suffered continuous sexual exploitation, with the most recent incident purportedly occurring just a month ago. The sisters eventually informed their mother, prompting legal proceedings. The accused, fearing arrest, went into hiding before being caught.
