In a tragic accident, two men drowned after their vehicle plunged into a pond in Rajasthan's Tonk district, as reported by local police on Friday.
The incident occurred on Thursday night near Arnia Kakad village, becoming apparent to villagers on Friday morning when the car was noticed submerged in the pond.
Authorities revealed the deceased were Soda village residents and worked as salesmen at a local liquor shop. They were transporting liquor cartons when the car lost control at a turn and fell into the pond, preventing their escape due to locked doors.
