A protest erupted on Friday at a BSF recruitment rally as numerous aspirants claimed their names were missing from the recruitment call list, resulting in a blockade of the Jammu–Akhnoor highway.
BSF officials reported confusion among the candidates regarding the list, which they say was later resolved without conflict.
The protest began outside the BSF gate on Akhnoor Road when the aspirants realized their exclusion from the recruitment drive. Police responded by dispersing the protestors with mild force to restore traffic flow on the affected highway.
