VHP Activists Protest Amid Allegations of Religious Conversion at KGMU

Activists from the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) gathered in Hazratganj on Friday to protest against alleged illegal religious conversion activities at King George's Medical University (KGMU). The group is calling for immediate action against those involved, following the arrest of KGMU intern Mohammad Adil on rape and blackmail charges.

A significant number of VHP members rallied, chanting slogans like 'stop love jihad' and accusing authorities of ignoring dubious activities at KGMU. They pressed the Special Task Force (STF) to expedite their investigation and enforce strict measures against the perpetrators.

Local VHP leader Vijay Pratap criticized the incidents as indicative of a coordinated attempt at religious conversion, urging for a thorough investigation into the matter. Meanwhile, the arrested intern, Adil, allegedly exploited a nursing student and is connected to a broader investigation concerning similar allegations involving other KGMU staff.
