Actor Vijay made his way to the CBI headquarters on Monday for a second round of questioning in connection with the tragic Karur stampede case, according to officials.
The esteemed actor arrived at the agency's Lodhi Road headquarters in a convoy of luxury SUVs early in the morning.
This session is being conducted by a team spearheaded by a Deputy Superintendent from the Anti-Corruption unit. Vijay's prior questioning lasted over six hours, and a subsequent appointment was rescheduled due to Pongal celebrations.
The CBI took over the investigation from an SIT following a Supreme Court directive and continues to uncover evidence regarding the stampede that occurred on September 27, 2025, leading to the loss of 41 lives and injuring over 60 individuals in Karur, Tamil Nadu.
