Trio Nabbed in Jammu and Kashmir: Heroin Bust Highlights Drug Menace

Three alleged drug peddlers were arrested in separate operations in Jammu and Kashmir. Two men were caught with 58 grams of heroin in Shopian, while a third individual was apprehended with a large quantity of contraband in Pulwama. The police have initiated investigations.

Three individuals have been apprehended in Jammu and Kashmir for allegedly peddling drugs, according to a police spokesperson. The arrests were part of two separate operations targeting the illegal drug trade in the region.

In Shopian district, two men were detained after authorities seized 58 grams of heroin from them. The police are proceeding with charges under the relevant sections of the law.

Meanwhile, another suspect was intercepted in Pulwama district, where a police patrol discovered a significant quantity of narcotics on the individual during a routine check. Further investigations are currently underway.
