Unveiling the Shadows: Secret UAE Prisons Discovered in Yemen
A senior official from the Saudi-backed Yemeni government has revealed the existence of secret prisons run by the United Arab Emirates in the province of Hadramout. Measures are being considered against the UAE and Yemen’s main separatist group, the STC, for justice for the victims.
A senior official from the Saudi-backed Yemeni government announced on Monday the discovery of clandestine prisons operated by the United Arab Emirates in Yemen's eastern Hadramout province.
Speaking on television, the official vowed that all necessary actions would be pursued against both the UAE and the main Yemeni separatist group, the Southern Transitional Council (STC), to ensure justice for affected individuals.
As of now, neither the UAE foreign ministry nor the STC has provided any comment regarding these allegations.
