A tragic sequence of events unfolded in Jharkhand as a two-year-old child died after falling into a drain near his residence in Ranchi district. Compounded with this tragedy, a 13-year-old boy's body was discovered near his home in Koderma after he went missing, creating ripples of concern among local residents.

The younger child, along with his elder brother, accidentally fell into the drain while playing. Although their mother successfully rescued them, tragically, the younger sibling passed away, said Kuldeep Kumar, officer-in-charge at Sadar Police Station. Investigations are underway for both grim incidents.

Meanwhile, in Koderma, tensions rose as locals blocked the Markacho-Bariyadih road for two hours, suspecting murder in the 13-year-old's death. They withdrew after police assured culprits would be apprehended. Authorities have sent the boy's body for a post-mortem examination, seeking answers to the cause of these unfortunate occurrences.
