In a deeply disturbing incident in northeast Delhi's Bhajanpura area, two minor boys have been apprehended for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl. The Delhi Police revealed that the incident took place on January 18. Following the assault, a case was registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
According to officials, three boys were involved in luring and assaulting the minor. While two juveniles have been detained and produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, efforts are ongoing to locate the third suspect. Police remain committed to bringing all perpetrators to justice.
Authorities have ensured that the child received a medical examination and is being provided with necessary care and counselling. Her statement has been recorded as the investigation proceeds, with police analyzing CCTV footage and gathering intelligence to close in on the remaining suspect.
