In a brazen daylight robbery on the outskirts of Bengaluru, four unidentified men swiftly executed a heist, making off with Rs 31.38 lakh from a cash collection agent. The incident occurred on February 1 on Sakalavara Road near Bannerghatta and was captured on CCTV.

The victim, identified as 24-year-old Kailas, was intercepted while riding his scooter. The assailants, traveling on a scooter and motorcycle, engaged him under the pretense of asking for directions in Kannada. When Kailas responded, one attacker brandished a machete, injuring his hand, before snatching his scooter and phone.

The perpetrators, all wearing helmets, abandoned the scooter about a kilometer from the robbery site, having broken open the storage to seize the cash. Police have registered a case and are actively pursuing the leads, with teams formed to trace the suspects involved in the crime.
