A tattoo artist from Manipal, identified as Vivek U, is recovering in hospital after a violent altercation stemming from a dispute over a tattoo. The incident occurred in the village of Senapura, where Vivek had been working on a tattoo for an acquaintance.

The disagreement erupted at Sagar's rented residence during the early hours of January 31. It's alleged that Sagar initiated an argument over the partly completed tattoo, which quickly escalated. According to police reports, Sagar, along with his associates Sumanth and Aditya, physically assaulted Vivek and tied him up.

The situation worsened when Sagar allegedly obtained an air gun and shot Vivek in the chest, causing him significant harm. Vivek was promptly hospitalized, and a case has now been registered with police pursuing leads to apprehend the culprits.
