A 17-year-old boy in Delhi resorted to extreme measures when a railway technician allegedly attempted to assault him. The teenager fatally attacked the man with a gas cylinder and slit his throat, police said on Tuesday.

Sandeep Kumar Malviya, aged 39, who had been reported missing since January 25, was discovered dead in a locked room in Delhi's Gulabi Bagh. His semi-naked, decomposed body bore marks of injuries, raising suspicions of foul play, police reported.

Following investigative leads, police apprehended the minor in Ghaziabad. The accused confessed, revealing that the altercation arose over a monetary dispute with the technician, escalating to the lethal confrontation. Investigations continue with evidence collected, including clothing and a gas cylinder from the scene.
