A tragic incident unfolded in Delhi as a 17-year-old boy defended himself against an alleged assault by railway technician Sandeep Kumar Malviya, leading to the latter's death. Initially missing since January 25, Malviya's body was found in a semi-naked condition in a locked room on February 2.
The minor recounted meeting Malviya near Paharganj, where a demand for money turned into a violent confrontation. The boy used a gas cylinder to bludgeon the technician and then slit his throat with a shard of glass in an act of self-defense.
Malviya's death leaves a family in mourning, as his brother Mandeep Malviya believes it was a planned murder. The police continue to investigate, aiming to uncover the complete sequence of events behind this grim occurrence.
