The Director General of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Shatrujit Kapur, held a strategic meeting with the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, in Leh on Wednesday. The meeting focused on enhancing border management and addressing security challenges in the high-altitude regions of Ladakh, an official statement reported.
Kapur, accompanied by Inspector General ITBP Akhoon Saberwal, provided a detailed briefing to Gupta about the ITBP's operational preparedness, deployment strategies, and welfare initiatives for its personnel in Ladakh. The discussions also emphasized coordinating effectively with the local civil administration to ensure seamless operations.
