The Coordination Committee of all District Court Bar Associations of Delhi has vehemently criticized the behavior of certain police officials accused of using derogatory language towards lawyers.
The outcry stems from a video, widely circulated on social media, showing some officers from the Sagarpur police station allegedly making offensive comments about the legal community. Following an urgent meeting convened by the committee, a strong condemnation was expressed against what they described as entirely unacceptable conduct undermining the legal profession's dignity.
The committee decided to gather in protest at Sagarpur police station and announced that police officials from Sagarpur would be barred from entering Patiala House district courts until the issue is resolved. Formal complaints will be lodged with higher authorities to ensure swift action against those accused.
