In a significant breakthrough, Punjab Police have dismantled a sophisticated narco-arms module operating in Ferozepur. This operation led to the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of over 22 kg of heroin.
DGP Gaurav Yadav confirmed the recovery of 22.295 kg of heroin along with two Glock pistols, magazines, cartridges, a vehicle, and Rs 2.05 lakh in cash. The police have registered an FIR against the accused.
The investigation is ongoing as the authorities aim to uncover both the forward and backward linkages of this network. The raid marks a critical step in disrupting the illegal narcotics and arms trade in the region.
