The accused, identified as Jitendra Kumar Kashyap, was apprehended by officers from the Charthawal police station, confirmed SHO Satyanarayan Dahiya during a press briefing. Kashyap faces charges under Sections 352 and 353 of the BNS, dealing with intentional insult and conduct likely to provoke public mischief.
The arrest followed the video's viral circulation, prompting authorities to take swift action Saturday evening, officials stated.
