Authorities in West Delhi have dismantled an illegal medicine supply racket, arresting two individuals accused of distributing banned pharmaceutical drugs. Police identified the suspects as Vinay Malhotra, owner of Shivam Medicos, and Chandan Bansal, owner of Aggarwal Mediplus.

During a police operation, significant quantities of Tramadol capsules and Codeine Phosphate syrup were seized. The case first came to light in September 2025, following reports of psychotropic medicines being sold without prescriptions.

As investigations continue, both men have been charged under the NDPS Act, with efforts underway to uncover other suppliers in the network. The duo allegedly targeted chemists across West and Outer Delhi, profiting from the illicit sale of these medicines.
