Mohali City SP Dilpreet Singh reported that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was notably mentioned in the threats, yet investigations led to no credible threats. Security was amplified around Fortis Hospital, where Mann was recently re-admitted after experiencing exhaustion.

This scare follows a string of similar threats in the region, all of which were determined to be hoaxes. Authorities assured the public of safety, emphasizing that school exams would proceed without disruptions.
