Suspicious pieces of meat found in bags were discovered in a drain in Punjab's Sirhind, prompting a swift response from local authorities.
Occurring near the city's Kushth Ashram, a police team immediately arrived to assess the situation, commencing cleanup of the drain as they extracted the bags of meat.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Avtar Singh from the Sirhind police station stated that an investigation is underway and urged the public to maintain peace while refraining from spreading rumors. The meat has been sent for testing in order to determine its type and origin.
